Access Control

CaptureIT supports full access control to help keep your students, staff and property safe. The technology uses the same student proximity ID card and can be configured in line with your college door access policy.

This provides added security because a person marked as a ‘leaver’ is automatically denied access.

There is a variety of locks available to secure the door. The solution often depends on factors such as what will happen if the power is lost and the type of door and frame construction.

We work with a lock partner who are specialists in the Access Control field. Their role is to supply and fit the agreed locks, with our role being to integrate this into your CaptureIT Student Access Control System.

As the Door Access Control unit is integrated to the Student Attendance Monitoring system, each time that a student enters or exits via this door, the activity will be recorded on their individual Daily Attendance Record.
